Chamerion angustifolium ssp. canescens

Fireweed (Epilobium angustifolium ssp. canescens) is a common native perennial herb that grows in northern, southern and central California. It tends to grow in open places with gravelly soils, at elevations from 0-11000 feet and following forest fires.
