Erigeron bloomeri

Erigeron bloomeri is a species of flowering plant in the daisy family known by the common name scabland fleabane. It is native to the slopes, meadows, and hillsides of the western United States. This wildflower is a short, small perennial daisy forming clumps over a taproot. It has mostly basal leaves several centimeters long which may be densely hairy to nearly hairless. Atop the short erect stems are flower clusters holding single flower heads. Each head is one or two centimeters wide and is packed with golden yellow disc florets, with no ray florets.
