Yolla Bolly Mtns. Bird’s Foot Trefoil (Lotus yollabolliensis) is a rare native perennial herb that grows in Northern California, primarily in the North Coast and North Coast Range regions. It tends to grow in open and dry slopes, at elevations from 5600-6900 feet.
