This creeping variety of sage produces a blueish-white flower and has dark green foliage that is evergreen. It grows to about 1 foot in height and spreads to about 5 to 6 feet in width. It does well in sandy loam soil but can survive in sand or gravel soil as well. The fragrant leaves are a good backdrop for the large blue and white spears that flower in spring and early summer. The flowers are loved by hummingbirds, bees, and butterflies. This cultivar is a horticultural selection.
