Stipa stillmanii

Stillman’s Stipa (Achnatherum stillmanii) is a uncommon native grass that grows in Central and Northern California, primarily in the High Sierra Nevada region. It tends to grow in rocky slopes, at elevations from 4000-6000 feet.
