Symphyotrichum chilense ‘Purple Haze’

Tolerates almost any soil type. Prefers sun in coastal sites, and sun or part shade in inland sites. Selected for the garden. This plant can spread rapidly from rhizomes, so some form of edging to contain its eventual spread and keep it in bounds should be considered when planting.
