At Growing Grounds Nursery, we specialize in cultivating succulents, trees, and Mediterranean climate zone perennials including many California native plants.
We sell to retail nurseries throughout SLO & Northern Santa Barbara County, landscapers and environmental restoration and mitigation organizations, both private and public.
While Growing Grounds is primarily a wholesale nursery, we are open to the public Monday-Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., selling at retail prices. This is an educational fundraiser benefitting the Growing Grounds social enterprise mission.
Our plants are also available to the public through online ordering on this website. Shop our inventory and select nursery pick up during our normal business hours or choose our at home delivery option.
As program of Transitions – Mental Health Association, we provide transitional employment, vocational training and therapeutic horticulture programming to adults recovering from mental illness. Proceeds from the nursery’s sales go directly back into supporting our mission to provide these services to our community.
